Half Walls Roofing Tutorial/ Functional Dog House Tutorial
In the Video I show you exactly how to make this happen. It isn’t hard but it is finicky LOL.
I also build a cute little outdoor functional dog house. And show it working.
The main thing to remember is, when moving the opposite space up and down, as you will see in the video, make sure it is as even as possible with the half wall you want the roof on.
Use the sims 3 camera to get a straight on view of the 2 “buildings”.
Another tip, you can delete all the walls and then move the roof over, but I found if it wasn’t right where I wanted it, bringing everything back to lower or raise it again was time consuming.
I move the buildings apart far enough to get the roof off one and in the middle of both, then proceed to put the roof on the half wall where I actually want it.
This does work for ANY of the roof style’s even though I only show 2 in the tutorial. I didn’t have a lot of time to make a longer video. Maybe I can make a longer one once all the craziness of the kiddo’s going back to school is over.
